Continuous Arm Rocker

Windsor chairs have always been a favourite of mine, their construction and manufacture methods appeal greatly to me due to the processes involved in the making.

I have a real love for steam bending coupled with a strong attraction for using hand tools and both were utilised when creating this rocker.

I would like to think the user will enjoy as peaceful and relaxing an experience as I had forming and shaping the various components.

 

 

 

Material – Steam bent Elm – continuous arm & rockers.
– Burr Elm seat
– Oak spindles and legs
